What a year! What a summer. While our little one was away visiting family my husband, a DJ and music historian, and I had an opportunity to complete an artistic collaboration called Activator.
I created a series of collages using vintage images from Ebony magazines (mostly early 1980s). My goal was to develop cover art for one of his mixes. I listened to it several times while creating collages and voila these were the finalists.
